The Elev8 CNC Edge & Dowel is the sole in the industry that combines both horizontal and vertical routing functions in a bore and dowel machine. Unlike other manufacturers that provide only an 8mm brad point boring bit for creating bored holes, Elev8 by Pro Edge Technology utilizes three electro-spindles paired with TRUE 3-axis CNC control. This machine not only drills standard holes but also enables a variety of specialized machining tasks to be executed on the panel.

As with most other equipment from Pro Edge, the Elev8 is equipped with SDT (Self Diagnostic Technology) in order to reduce the need and expense of service visits. While other equipment use "daisy-chains" of safety circuits which make it difficult for the operator to determine what caused a machine to stop, Pro Edge machines deliver specific, comprehensive information. this allows the operator to self-diagnose the issue, often eliminating the need for tech support or service calls.

  • Rafix, Minifix, and Maxifix components machined in both the edge and the bottom of the panel

  • Confirmat machining, dog bone routes on both the edge and bottom of the panel

  • Domino slots for special applications

  • Special drawer features, such as machining rear panel notch for undermount drawer slides

  • Soss hinges machined in cabinet panels or large door sides and jams

  • True Parametric Programming allows for machined louvered doors and shaker door stiles and rails

  • Dados and blind-dados can be programmed to automatically change size and length as the panel sizes change
